Horizontal Blinds
Horizontal blinds are available in both aluminum slat and vinyl slat material. The vinyl slat horizontal blind is only offered in a 2” width, while the aluminum slat horizontal blind is offered in various slat widths: ½” (Micro), 1” and 2” (macro). Aluminum slat horizontal blinds offer flexibility since they can transform from light blocking to an open view by simply turning the wand.
The 1” slat aluminum mini-blind has become an industry standard for many reasons. The have durable, spring-tempered slats that are available in a wide variety of colors, textures, and finishes. They are also available with different options, such as hidden cord holes, hidden control systems that eliminate the cord altogether, hidden installation brackets, integrated valances, and the Reveal™ with MagnaView™ (patent-pending) from Hunter Douglas that allows twice the view through the slats when tilted open compared to standard blinds.
