Nothing compares to the natural beauty of wood. The sturdiness and versatility of real wood blinds is the perfect choice to warm almost any room décor. These unique blinds are manufactured from hardwoods and are offered in numerous slat widths from 1” through 2 5/8”. They may be finished in one of many various stains or colors and there are many head rail and decorative options available. Iris Window Coverings can provide any of the major manufacturer’s wood blinds. We have also hand built specialty wood blinds in the past.

Composite blinds have a genuine wood-grain appearance and are available in numerous colors in both 2" and 2 1/2" slats styles. Color coordinated ladders and cords are standard. Decorative options include cloth tapes and different styles of valances. Composite blinds are fabricated from a wood-resin composite and are guaranteed not to warp in high-humidity environments such as bathrooms or the laundry room.

Faux-wood blinds are fabricated from solid vinyl and are thus completely water-resistant. This type of blind looks best in shades of white. These blinds are also available in both 2" and 2 1/2" slat styles but they do not offer all the custom options of a real wood or composite wood blind.
